About

Mission & Vision

Our mission is to promote and facilitate the study and appreciation of American culture, history, and art through baseball cards.

Our vision is to collect every American baseball card made before 1980 and share the collection with the public and scholars to further knowledge and appreciation of American culture and history surrounding baseball, America's pastime.

History

We incorporated on January 1, 2013. The IRS has ruled that we are a tax-exempt §501(c)(3) public charity. We have no founding grant. Instead we plan to rely on many donations of cards to stock the museum and provide the operating funds. We don't know how long that will take. This is and has been our projects:

Spring 2016 - First public exhibit at the library on the campus of Fresno State University

September 2018 to 2021 -Display in the Fresno County Sports Hall of Fame exhibit, Fresno County History Museum, Big Fresno Fairgrounds, Fresno, California

Summer 2022  to present - Display at Chukchansi Park, home of the Fresno Grizzlies

Now through June 30, 2024 - The Art of Selling Bubble Gum -- Bowman Trading Cards exhibit at the Fresno Art Museum
